A lovely handmade cello by the Swiss maker Nina Gygax. This cello, a beautiful Montagnana copy, is Nina's first cello made during her time at The Newark School of Violin Making.
This cello sounds every bit as good as it looks and the condition is superb.
Sold with the original brochure showing the cello at various stages of completion.

A Fantastic early German Cello probably made in Saxony. The cello is in fantastic condition for it's age showing no splits and just a few minor cosmetic scratches. The neck is wholly original, a great instrument for the aspiring student or intermediate player.
The length of the back is 747 mm.
