A fine, quality cello made in the Caussin school around 1880.

This cello is in a good state of preservation and produces a very fine tone, rich, bright and full of complex overtones, certainly not lacking in power.  Extremely versatile and suitable for all levels of player from an advancing student to a professional orchestral musician.

The length of the back is

Francois Hippolyte Caussin School, Circa 1880
